Android-powered phones are the mostly used phones in the world. Android
6.0 Marcello is the latest version of the Android operating system. Android
phones are vulnerable to attack. A password, which is long, can crack the
security.
The vulnerability was discovered by John Gordon. He tells that it’s very
easy to exploit. Simply open the phone’s Emergency Call feature, type few
characters and then repeatedly copy and paste them. It will be longer and
longer. Once it reaches 160000 characters, it becomes hard for the phone to
handle. The next step is to open the camera app, which asks for a password in
which the 160000 characters are pasted. After few minutes, the phones will be
restarted; boot now and the phone will be unlocked.
Gordon told CNN Money that he has informed Google in August and the
company has already released the patch. Many users can be affected as they
don’t update the software.
This has also happened with
iPhone, which uses one of the best secure software but one can get the access
to the phone.
Companies are also trying hard to restrict it. But as it is a software
program everyone who is interested to crack it is trying to break the security.
Software related companies always face this kind of Android
Application Development they also fix it as early as possible. So,
don’t panic! Use proper software in your system and do use antivirus so that in
case of update you can get it.
